At Milk & Honey Remedial Massage, simplicity is key. We won’t bog you down with loads of massage treatments; you’re stressed enough already. We offer three types of treatments – remedial, remedial pregnancy or relaxation massage. More detail below:
A head to toe massage treatment that will leave you feeling weightless and blissful.
This treatment is the ideal massage designed to combat stress, revitalise and restore the body back to balance.
A relaxing blend of essential oils are applied in slow and rhythmic strokes to alleviate tension and tiredness, flushing toxins and worries away.
This massage is ideal for de-stressing, stimulating circulation and restoring balance to the body.
NB: You can not claim a rebate for remedial massage with a relaxation treatment.
This remedial massage treatment is designed for people wanting more specific results.
An assessment is carried out prior to the massage on the focus areas and your therapist will advise on a treatment plan along with expected results. The aim of a remedial massage treatment is to reduce physical pain and discomfort, increase range of motion and prevent injury.
We believe that a spoonful of honey makes the medicine go down a little easier so each session is topped off with a heavenly scalp massage to release deep-seated tension.
This massage is ideal for clients recovering from sports injuries, injury prevention, those suffering from deep-seated tension, and clients who are after specific results.
Remedial Pregnancy Massage
A targeted, nurturing 60, 75 or 90 minute massage designed specifically for your body’s remarkable changes during this precious time. Our therapists have the unique ability to deliver a firm and effective treatment whilst mum-to-be is lying on her side, supported by soft body pillows.
Let Milk & Honey Remedial Massage assist with the aches and pains experienced during pregnancy, which are often caused by the extra weight and shift in the centre of gravity. There are many physical benefits to a pregnancy massage in addition to the nurturing and emotional support provided by the massage therapist.
Massage during pregnancy reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, helps to prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain.
Most of our clients visit us for our unique ability to deliver remedial massage at a relaxing pace. Chat with our skilled therapists and they’ll advise how your treatment goals can be met.
